This recipe is meant to be easy, healthy + help alleviate your pregnancy headaches. It saved me so many times during pregnancy when I would have terrible headaches. The potassium from the bananas is EXACTLY what your body needs. I used it all the way through to postpartum! The best part? It tastes absolutely amazing that you won’t mind making this on repeat.
- -6 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- -1.5 frozen or ripe bananas
- -1 tbsp cacao powder
- -1 tbsp peanut butter
- -1/4 tsp cinnamon
- -1/2 tsp honey
- -Splash of vanilla extract
- -1 handful of spinach
- -1 handful of ice or frozen zucchini, cubed
- -Optional: 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- Place all ingredients into a high power blender and blend until one consistent color.
- Top with optional granola or grain-free cereal for extra crunch and enjoy!
Happy sipping, mamas!
With Health + Happiness Always,
Jacquie
